Questions about Palm reading
Is this actually accurate?
Palmistry is a traditional practice, not a science, and we won't pretend otherwise — this is for entertainment. What we do promise is that the reading describes the hand in your photo rather than serving you a template: the model looks at the length, depth, curve and branching of your own lines, so two different palms get two genuinely different readings.
What happens to the photo of my hand?
It is sent over an encrypted connection to our AI provider, OpenAI, which reads it to write your reading. We never write it to our database or to file storage — our database schema has no column for it. OpenAI doesn't train its models on it, but may hold it for up to 30 days to check for abuse before deleting it. We keep only the text of your reading so you can read it again later.
How should I photograph my palm?
Use your dominant hand, open flat with the fingers slightly apart, in bright even light against a plain background. Fill the on-screen outline. If the photo is too dark or blurred to make out your hand, we'll tell you what to fix rather than guess; if only part of it is soft or out of frame, your reading says what it could and couldn't see.
